Lori Morgan, 3857 Matson Avenue, Deer Park, Ohio, appeared and presented for, approximately, 10 minutes.

She identified herself as, “The Dog Lady.”

She refuted any and all allegations that have been purportedly made against her concerning a Companion Animal “hoarding” situation at this address.

She claims no one was ever denied access to her residence concerning this issue.

She has yet to receive a single complaint from any resident on this issue in over 12 years of residency at this address.

She elocuted that her dogs are taken outside several times per day.

The maximum amount of dogs kept at this residence were 11–two of which were recently deceased.

The remaining canines, according to her, are as follows: Foster–06; Hospice–02; Medical Foster–01.

She said that the average age of the dogs were fifteen years of age.

She admitted that The City of Deer Park, Ohio, Police Department has visited her and told her to get rid of the dogs.

(Note:

A discernment followed involving The Mayor, City Solicitor, and The Police Department as to what shall be the next steps undertaken, soon, by the city to resolve this issue.)

(Discernment on City Charter)

In my opinion what we have done is nothing illegal.

I do not care where anyone lives if they want to volunteer” for The Park Board.

(Note:

“Jay” Janus, Jr., ‘Crip Citizen Journalist, previously posted about this issue.

In 2021, two non-residents were appointed to The City of Deer Park, Ohio, Park Board.

Under their new City Charter, in lieu of residency, appointees for said position must work or own property in Deer Park, Ohio.

Neither of these two appointees qualify under that requirement.

After “Jay” Janus, Jr., ‘Crip Citizen Journalist, pointed out that these “illegal” appointments were mentioned in the official meeting minutes of The City of Deer Park, Ohio, City Council, at a public meeting in 2021, the online version of only that meeting have been permanently removed from the online archives for that endeavor.

NO SHIT!

I SHIT YOU NAUGHT!!

A query about this entire situation to Bryan Pachecho, Jetter-appointed City Solicitor, weeks ago by email, has yet to receive any response.

However, the city web site proudly lists these two non-resident, or property owning, or city working jobs as appointees.

Sadly, nobody gives a “tinker’s damn,” except for “Jay” Janus, Jr., ‘Crip Citizen Journalist, on this issue!

No shirt!

No service!!

No shit!!!)

Some of the three major issues, I believe are:

First, the Charter Commission voted to have 7 members on city council.

However, when it appeared on the ballot, the only choice was for 6 members on city council.

Do we wish to put any change to this number on the ballot, soon?

Second, The Park Board has had some recent appointments.

Two more recent appointments do not live, own property, or work in The City of Deer Park, Ohio.

(Note:

This is blantantly, illegal, under The Ohio Revised Code as well as The City Charter.)

Do we wish to have this on the ballot, soon, to change this at all?

Third, the City Charter said that the City Solicitor was supposed to be hired upon the recommendation of the City Mayor, with the majority consensus of The City Council.

What appeared on the ballot was that the City Manager appoints the City Solicitor and that he/ she has an indefinite tenure, and serves at the pleasure of The City Manager.

Do we wish to put this issue on the ballot any time soon?

Also, what about the Veto power of the Mayor?

May he/ she vote in the event of a tie?

(Donnellon)–(Mayor)

Let us continue to think about this and come back to all of this at a future meeting.

He lauds Emily Grace Culver, M. A., Deer Park, Ohio, for informing him of a link for a potential source of funding for a Pavilion in Chamberlin Park, Deer Park, Ohio.

I am meeting with funding sources for financial contributions for future enhancement projects in Chamberlin Park, Deer Park, Ohio.

I may have to involve our City Solicitor to get some action for the project to move forward at the intersection of East Galbraith Road and Blue Ash Road, Deer Park, Ohio.

I hope they will, soon, proceed with natural gas and electrical installations there?

I may need to get our City Solicitor involved, soon, to get some action moving along forward with the development project at the intersection of Blue Ash Road and East Galbraith Road, Deer Park, Ohio.

The city is involved in some competitive “bidding” for “trash” collection.
